This invention is a control device featuring a control (1) and a control console and equipped with at least one joint piece. The control is jointably positioned on the control console for shifting between a number of control positions whereby the control's control positions around said joint piece are designed to be transferred to the corresponding operational mode of a device to be controlled. These control positions feature at least two different control modes, a primary control mode, in which the control can be set by swinging between a number of control positions, and a secondary control mode, in which the control can be set by swinging between a further number of control positions. Switching between control modes occurs through a further swinging of the control, upon which a movement transfer device for the control's (1) movements is included along with a sensor device for detecting movements of the movement transfer device and a signal transfer device for transfer of signals to the device to be controlled, whereby a sensor field (31) is established with a two-dimensional fixed sensor arrangement (32) with fixed sensors. The movement transfer device (11) features a sensor-bearing part (29) which carries a second movable sensor and accompanies the fixed sensors' (24) positioning along the sensor field. Depending on the control movements in respective control modes these are set in movement along the sensor field relative to the fixed sensors and with that between different sensors within respective groups (32a, 32b) of fixed sensors.<IMAGE> |
