Multi-paddle reciprocating rowing system consisting of double rowing levers (1) and double horizontal reciprocating bars (3) which are permanently connected to each other, are supported in the bases (4) on either side at the bulge of the boat and operate in a centrifugal arrangement-carrying over in each of their movements the reciprocating bars (3) simultanously in opposite directions, activating several folding blades connected to these bars (3) achieving a continuous sailing of the boat with absolute rowing synchronisation, directing the boat through foot pedals (35) without the need of rowers to occupy their hands for this purpose, and may enable the rowers to look in the direction they are rowing. Furthermore, this reciprocating rowing system, as it is supported at right angles to the bulge of the boat, does not require significant space at the sides for its operation on either side of the boat and furthermore, due to buoyancy, the weight of this reciprocating rowing system is counterbalanced. Furthermore, in the case where the rowers wish to brake to boat, the rudder (27) of the stem can turn at right angles through the foot pedals, decreasing its speed, as well as in the case of manoeuvre in the reverse direction, the rower(s) may perform slow successive movements in order to bring the boat backwards (in the case of harbouring or other relative movement). This rowing system achieves through these blades increased stabiltiy to the boat, increases the speed of sailing considerably and further eliminates the idle rowing time. |
