Method, assembly and complementary plaster for non-structural work

A non-structural work method comprises using flat prefabricated elements, esp. plaster plates and at least one sheet of facing paper with at least one outer layer having an exposed outer surface ready for decoration, as well as at least one complementary grouting coating able to be used for finishing a joint. The flat elements are assembled, with a grout, and the joints are finished with the complementary grout to produce an exposed outer surface that is relatively uniform even at the joints. The structure and/or the composition of the sheet of facing paper and the composition of the complementary grout are adjusted with respect to each other so that when the complementary grout has dried, one surface of the assembly has one or more physical characteristics, such as the colour or shade, that are essentially homogeneous over practically the whole of the surface of the assembly and particularly on the exposed outer surface of the joints. The non-structural assembly produced by this method and the complementary jointing grout used in the method are also claimed.
