PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a string instrument playing stuffed toy allowing a user to foster the acoustic sense while enjoying the stuffed toy. SOLUTION: The string instrument playing stuffed toy holds a string instrument, and an arm of the toy can be moved in the direction crossing the string instrument. The stuffed toy has a sound generating circuit for generating the sound of the string instrument held by the stuffed toy in a prescribed melody, a sensor for detecting the movement of a hand of the stuffed toy relative to the string instrument, a judging circuit for judging whether the movement of the hand detected by the sensor is similar to the actual movement of a hand of a string instrument player, and an operation circuit for operating the sound generating means according to the movement of the hand judged by the judging circuit. |
