PURPOSE: A feedback sensor for an active roll stabilizer and a control method thereof are provided to accurately restrain the roll of a vehicle by correctly generating an anti-roll moment via a load cell. CONSTITUTION: A feedback sensor for an active roll stabilizer comprises a control unit(10) to receive a steering angle signal and a vehicle signal and to output anti-roll front and rear moment signals, a rear load cell(21) to sense the force of a front stabilizer, a front load cell(22) to sense the force of a rear stabilizer, a rear analog-to-digital converter(19) to convert the force sensed by the rear load cell into a digital value, a front analog-to-digital converter(20) to convert the force sensed by the front load cell into an analog value, a first multiplier(17) to multiply a constant to the output of the rear analog-to-digital converter, a second multiplier(18) to multiply a constant to the output of the front analog-to-digital converter, a first adder(12) to output an error signal by calculating the difference between a desire anti-roll moment and a real anti-roll moment, a second adder(11) to output an error signal by calculating the difference between a desired anti-roll moment and a real anti-roll moment, a second proportional integrator(14) to proportionally integrate the output of the first adder, a first proportional integrator(13) to proportionally integrate the output of the second adder, a first amplifier(15) to output a front pressure duty signal, and a second amplifier(16) to output a rear pressure duty signal.
