<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultrasound diagnostic equipment which can produce images by using probes with a large element pitch while simultaneceously satisfying in terms of high resolution, super sensitivity, and low grating lobe. SOLUTION: When transmitting beams or receiving beams are formed by making multiple bundles of subdiced elements 3 at a part 4 for binding elements, patterns for binding subdiced elements must be altered by receiving beams to differentiate from patterns for binding transmitting beams so that the positions of grating lobe for transmitting beams can meet the positions where the strength of the receiving beams are small, and the positions of grating lobe for receiving beams can meet the positions where the strength of the transmitting beams are small.</p> |
