<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of treating waste water containing silver, which enables miniaturization of a device for treating the waste water containing silver and by which effluence of silver components into treated water is sufficiently inhibited, and to provided a device therefor. SOLUTION: In the method of treating waste water containing silver, silver components in the waste water are separated by adding a cationic polymer flocculant into the waste water, introducing the waste water containing the cationic polymer flocculant added into a feed supplying tube 8 provided in a sedimentation tank 6, adding an anionic polymer flocculant to the waste water from plural parts, agitating the resultant waste water, discharging flock formed in the waste water through plural spray ports 24a of a distributor 24 radially extending from the feed supplying tube 8, and capturing the discharged flock in a flocculated flock layer 46 in the sedimentation tank 6. In this case, since the flock is sufficiently captured by the flocculated flock layer 46, it is possible to increase the ascending flow speed in the sedimentation tank 6, and further, since the silver components are taken in the flock, the effluence of the silver components into the treated water can be inhibited sufficiently.</p> |
