PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To firmly fix a column and a sill simultaneously to a concrete foundation. SOLUTION: An anchor bolt 7 erected on a concrete foundation 1 is connected to a holddown hardware 11 fixed to a column 3 through a sill 2 placed on the concrete foundation 1 for securing the column 3 to the concrete foundation 1. A lower portion of a screw cylindrical part 8b of a flanged nut 8 whose flange part 8d is embedded and locked on an upper surface of the sill 2 is connected, by thread connection, to an upper edge of the anchor bolt 7 inserted into the sill 2. A lower portion of an intermediary screw rod 9 of which upper edge is locked to the holddown hardware 11, is screwed in the upper portion of the screw cylindrical part 8a.
