<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a surface protective film having a sufficiently mechanical strength to be provided on a surface recording an image of an image display material without generating a flash even by using a transfer type ultraviolet curable resin film forming method. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an image display material 1 comprises a step of forming an image on a surface of a base material 2, and a step of providing a surface protective film 5 on a surface formed with the image of the material 2. In this case, the step of providing the film 5 repeats transferring of an ultraviolet curable resin layer 6 from a transfer material for forming the surface protective film provided releasably with the layer 6 on a support formed with the image of the material 2 by using the transfer material. Thus, the method further comprises the step of superposing plurality times the layer 6 on the surface formed with the image of the material 2.</p> |
