<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an ink of an ink jet printer to be adhered onto a material surface prevailing as a card base. SOLUTION: An ink acceptive layer capable of fixing an aqueous ink is formed on a surface of a card base, and the layer is formed of a thermosetting hydrophilic resin. In the card, an anchor-coating layer for improving adhesive properties of both the layers is preferably formed between the card base and the acceptive layer. Further, in the card, a water repellent resin is preferably formed as a cover layer on a print layer printed with the aqueous ink. When the card base is formed of a laminate of at least two sheets, an ink acceptive layer is formed of a thermosetting hydrophilic resin on one side surface of the first sheet-like member, and a second sheet-like member may be superposed and adhered onto the other surface of the first member.</p> |
