<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door locking apparatus for automobiles, which has its locking/unlocking mechanism manually locked even if an actuator is put out of action. SOLUTION: The door locking apparatus for automobiles has locking/ unlocking mechanisms 24, 25, 26 which are arranged on a body 1 attached to a door. Each of the locking/unlocking mechanisms 24, 25, 26 can select an unlocked state where a handle arranged on a vehicle external side of the door can be operated to open the door, and a locked state where the handle can not be operated open the door. The door locking apparatus has an operating portion 36c which is arranged at a location where the operating portion 36c is exposed out of the door when the door is opened while it is closed between the door and a chassis when the door is closed. Further, the apparatus includes an emergency operating portion 36 connected to the locking/unlocking mechanisms 24, 25, 26 so as to switch the mechanisms 24, 25, 26 from the unlocked state to the locked state.</p> |
