PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mortar external facing member and a mortar external facing construction method capable of keeping even a metal lath necessary for the corner mortar having an accurate thickness and wall face corners in advance in a combined state and preventing generation of partial broken pieces of the mortar and efficiently spraying mortar. SOLUTION: The mortar external facing member provided with a corner lath 1 constituted of a pair of metal lath placed on top of the other, and a ruler piece 2 connecting respective one side ends 1a of the beltlike metal lath and extending along the corner ridge line of the mortar external facing forms a rigid ruler having an 'inverted V'-shaped section by fixing the free end 1 b of the corner lath 1 to a wall face member A.
