PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of significantly and more easily diminishing the probability of self-polimerization occurring regarding treatment of tetrafluoroethylene. SOLUTION: The temperature of the heat transfer surface of the tetrafluoroethylene side is kept below 25 deg.C when tetrafluoroethylene is vaporized by heating liquid tetrafluoroethylene through the heat transfer surface.
