PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide staircase passage equipment that can easily be installed to a staircase with an intermediate landing and does not reduce the strength of the staircase without enlarging the floor space for a passenger conveyor. SOLUTION: An inclined bottom face 25 is formed along the inclination of the staircase 3 with intermediate landing 4 in the upper machine room 9 of the passenger conveyor 7 and extended downward for forming an extended space section, and an end section on the side of the upper floor 1 of the upper machine room 9 is supported on the top stage section 5U of the staircase 3.
