PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inflator for showing stable operational, performance by blocking up an opening part for communicating with outside air of a gas generator for an air bag by a moistureproof seal tape capable of preventing moisture absorption of a gas generating agent in the gas generator for the air bag. SOLUTION: This gas generator is featured by being set not more than 2.0 % in a weight increase rate by the moisture absorption, of the gas generating agent housed in the gas generator when the gas generator is left as it is for 20 days 4n a constant temperature/ constant humidity tank of a temperature of 80 deg.C and humidity of 90% by moisture permable performance of the seal tape by blocking up the opening part for communicating with the outside air of the gas generator by the moistureproof seal tape composed of a base material and an adhesive. |
