PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grid for removing scattering radiation which has excellent strength to use for X-ray equipment even though lead is used as the material for the plate. SOLUTION: A plate 2, which is a part of a grid for removing scattering radiation, is made by adhering a layer of a lead material 12 to a layer of a reinforcing material 11. Metallic materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, or an aluminum alloy, which are more excellent in strength than lead, and resinous materials such as polyamide resin or polyimide resin, which are also more excellent in strength than lead, can be used as the reinforcing material 11. As a result, the strength of the plate 2 is improved, and the strength of the grid for removing scattering radiation is maintained.
