<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon black suitable for using in coloring paint, ink, and resin excellent in extreme blackness, and dispersability. SOLUTION: This carbon black has an average particle diameter of not greater than 25 nm, a ratio of standard deviation of particle diameter/the average diameter of not greater than 0.35, a Dmod of not greater than 80 nm, a ratio of D1/2/Dmod of not greater than 0.6, and a ratio of N2 SA (m2/g)/SEM (m2/g) of not greater than 2.8. wherein N2 SA represents nitrogen adsorption specific surface area, and SEM represents EM specific surface area.</p> |
