PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Cu-Fe series alloy in which cracking such as casting cracks and hot rolling cracks is prevented. SOLUTION: This copper alloy has a composition containing, by weight, 1.8 to 2.3% Fe, 0.01 to 0.1% P, 0.05 to 1.0% Zn, one or more kinds of components selected from Nb, V and W respectively by 0.001 to 0.2% and 0.003 to 0.2% in total, and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities.
