PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Cu-Fe alloy in which cracks such as casting cracks and hot rolling cracks can be prevented, and having excellent heat resistance and having excellent characteristics even in mechanical strength. SOLUTION: This copper alloy has a composition containing, by weight, 1.8 to 2.3% Fe, 0.01 to 0.1% P, 0.05 to 1.0% Zn, 0.003 to 0.2% Mo, 4 to 100 ppm C, and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities.
