SAFETY AGAINST FOR TRAVELLING CRANE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety against wind for travelling cranes capable of freely improving the braking force of a travelling crane. SOLUTION: A brake shaft 33 is arranged near the axle 32 of driven wheels 8b provided in the travelling crane, and the axle 32 and the brake shaft 33 is connected to each other though transmission gears 35 and 36 meshing each other between the axle 32 and the brake shaft 33, and a rotary disk 37 is fixed to the brake shaft 33 so as to be capable of applying braking by means of a disk brake 40.
