PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple printing plate managing system capable of being introduced merely by manually revising a conventional facility without building a large-scale automatic storage warehouse by newly assuring a place. SOLUTION: The printing plate managing system comprises the printing plate to be repeatedly used, a containing means for containing the plate, a managing label adhered to the containing means to record contents of the plate, a non-contact data carrier attached to one side surface of the label, a writing means for writing various type information in the carrier, a data managing and controlling computer for supplying information to the writing means, and a hand-held terminal equipment to be written by retrieving information by the computer. In this case, the carrier is searched by radio transmitting the information from the terminal equipment written by the retrieving information to the carrier, and the predetermined plate is retrieved. |
