PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification method for the inhibition peptides of the angiotensin conversion enzymes which does not decline the inhibition activity of the angiotensin conversion enzymes and does not impart bitterness and odor by using a solution containing the inhibition peptides of the angiotensin conversion enzymes obtained by hydrolysis of the protein. SOLUTION: The solution containing the inhibition peptides of the angiotensin conversion enzymes obtained by hydrolysis of the protein with the protein decomposition enzymes in an aqueous medium, is treated using the active carbon of the mean pore diameter of at least 3 nm.
