PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate manufacture of frame members of fittings, to lessen the dimension of depth and to excellent heat insulating properties, the feeling of quality, beauty, the feeling of touch and the mutual joining strength of the frame members. SOLUTION: Rails 21 and 22 are constituted of main bodies 21A and 22A made of composite wood and core members 21B and 22B made of a metal, and the core members 21B and 22B are joined to similar members of a stile 23. A complicated shape can be formed easily by extrusion of the main bodies 21A and 22A. The strength can be ensured reliably by the core members 21B and 22B and also the dimension of depth can be lessened. The composite wood has a feeling equal to one of natural wood and, moreover, has excellent heat insulating properties. The rails 21 and 22 and the stile 23 are joined by the core members 21B and 22B and the similar core member of the stile 23 jointed to each other and, therefore, the joining strength can be kept excellent.
