PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support a plurality of rails by using a narrow pad to pack them in a corrugated fiberboard box. SOLUTION: The pad comprises a plurality of upward recesses 3 on an upper surface 1a, a plurality of downward recesses 4 on a lower surface 1c, and a one-side notch 5, a first another-side notch 6 and a second another-side notch 7 at corners, wherein the rails are supported on the respective recesses and the respective notches for packing in the corrugated fiberboard box. Thus the plurality of rails can be supported using the narrow pad and packed in the corrugated fiberboard box. Alternatively, the pad comprises a plurality of upward recesses 3 on an upper surface 1a, a plurality of downward recesses 4 on a lower surface 1c, and a one-side notch 5, a first another-side notch 6 and a second another-side notch 7 at corners, wherein the rails are supported on the respective recesses and the respective notches for forming a bundle A of sash sections by a binding member 60. Thus the plurality of rails can be supported using the narrow pad for making into the bundle A.
