PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical machining method for nonferrous metal or nonferrous metal alloy capable of providing excellent precision, eliminating discoloration and corrosion of a machined product and explosion and fire, and reducing a load for environment. SOLUTION: A water drop whose surface is covered with an oil film is generated using the same principle as ordinary spray by absorbing oil on a side close to a suction port of air and absorbing water on a side close to a discharge port of air, and it is supplied to a machining place when machining such as cutting, grinding, rolling, drawing, pressing, forging, etc., of nonferrous metal or nonferrous metal alloy is done. The above-mentioned nonferrous metal or nonferrous metal alloy includes aluminum, aluminum alloy, magnesium, magnesium alloy, copper, copper alloy, titanium, titanium alloy, nickel alloy, and cobalt alloy.
