PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter and a filter member both of which have not only stable resistance against both of acidic chemicals and alkaline chemicals but also high adsorbing capacity. SOLUTION: The filter has a corrugated honeycomb structure wherein corrugated sheets 21 each formed by corrugating an adsorbing sheet 20 and flat sheets 22 each comprising the adsorbing sheet are laminated and bonded alternately. The adsorbing sheet is formed from a slurry containing a mixture consisting of an adsorbent and a fiber binder comprising fibrilated aramide fibers by a wet papermaking process and contains added chemicals.
