<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent which has adequate pliability, is smoothly and uniformly dilatable in a radial direction, has sufficient radial strength after dilatation and can suppress the growth of reconstriction. SOLUTION: This stent of an approximately cylindrical shape to be indwelt within the lumen of the living body has at least a primary stent structure 4 which is formed with plural spacings 6 and regulates the external form shape of the stent 2 and a secondary stent structure 8 which is connected to the primary stent structure 4 and has secondary repetitive units 8a smaller in approximate similar shape than the primary repetitive units of the primary stent structure 4.</p> |
