PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a free roller utilizing an empty can and a roller conveyor using it, capable of recycling the empty can and obtaining a roller conveyor having the degree of freedom of the width size. SOLUTION: In the free roller 1 utilizing the empty can, washers 40 having shaft holes 41 are provided as bearing means on a lid part 11 and a bottom part 12 of the empty can 10, and a support shaft 53 is inserted through the bearing means to rotatably support the empty can 10. The roller conveyor using the free roller 1 utilizing the empty can is constituted by arranging many free rollers 1 utilizing empty cans in parallel.
