PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for a vehicle having a secret box function wherein the presence of a container box is hard to find and having the container box of which lid can easily be opened when opened even though the lid is never opened by shock or the like at the time of emergency. SOLUTION: This seat is provided with a hollow container box 6 storage in a recessed part 5 formed in a top part 3a of a seat back 3, and a stopper means 8 held in a state unable to release the holding of the container box 6 in a condition that a stay 7 of a head rest 4 is supported in the container box 6 and capable of releasing the holding when the stay 7 is disconnected from the container box 6. The container box 6 is covered by the head rest 4 installed in the seat back 3.
