PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an offset printing film excellent in printing sharpness, ink setting properties, color developability, ink adhesion and further transparency. SOLUTION: This offset printing film is produced by providing an ink fixing layer mainly consisting of modified polyvinyl alcohol and colloidal silica on at least one side of a thermoplastic film. The colloidal silica is preferably a silica sol having a pearl necklace-like shape formed by bonding particles having diameters of 5 to 50 nm with one another in a length of 40 to 500 nm or a slender shape having a thickness of 5 to 20 nm and a length of 40 to 500 nm.
