PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal container construction enabling to decrease an assembling manhour and to improve a working efficiency. SOLUTION: The metal container construction is provided with a plurality of divided structural portions composed of divided shapes of an approximately cylindrical metal container in which the metal container is divided in a direction crossed against its center axis, and a first flange arranged along edge portions of connecting sides of respective divided structural portions and also extruded circularly to an outer side, or a second flange having a projected piece with a cross-sectioned angled profile, which can fit on the first flange, corresponding to the first flange. The first flange of the divided structural portion on one side and the second flange of the divided structural portion on another side are adjusted by fitting respective divided structural portions on stored substance. The second flange of the divided structural portion on the other side is bent to hold both side faces of the first flange of the divided structural portion on the other side through the central axis direction. While keeping a state of overlapping each other, a caulking work is applied to form a step portion moving to central axis direction in the middle portion of the overlapped flange portions so that both of the divided structural portions are integrally connected.
