PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Chinese cabbage chopping device capable of chopping a vegetable clearly around a central part without tearing off or soiling the vegetable while improving a labor effectiveness by chopping the vegetable automatically. SOLUTION: This vegetable chopping device is equipped with vertical carrier conveyers 3 facing to each other and having a carrier space 1 between thereof, horizontal carrier conveyers 4, and chopping cutters 5. A conveyer flame 3a of a pararell link mechanism is provided on the each carrier conveyer. A conveyer chain 40 is spread inwardly inclined from a supply side sprocket 37 to an intermediate sprocket 38 and wound around the intermediate sprocket 38 and a discharge side sprocket 39 almost in parallel. The carrier conveyers are interlockingly connected to the base end shaft 30 so as to expand and shrink an opposition space at a discharge side while normally urged inwardly.
