PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition which results in effects on the hair and skin after washing (coherency and smoothness of hair, flexibility, flat and smooth property and emollient feeling of skin or the like) by including a special organopolysiloxane and a surfactant. SOLUTION: The composition contains an organopolysiloxane represented by formula (1): R1mR2nSiO(4-m-n)/2 [wherein R1 is a substituted or non-substituted 1-20C monovalent hydrocarbon group or a group represented by -OR3 (provided that R3 is a hydrogen atom or a substituted or non-substituted 1-8C monovalent hydrocarbon group); R2 is the same group as R1 or a group represented by formula (2) (provided that x is an integer of 3-8 and y is 3-5) and at least one of R2 is a group represented by formula (2); m and n is a positive number which satisfies 0<m<3, 0<n<3 and 1.8<=m+n<=2.2] and one ore more sorts of anionic, amophoteric and nonionic surfactant.
