PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable partition unit capable of preventing the loss of an operation rod and immediately usable when required. SOLUTION: This movable partition unit 1 comprises rotation plates with fitting holes provided in the middle of both side walls 4 of a housing unit 3, and an attachable and detachable operation rod 5 performing the raising and lowering operation of the housing unit 3 by fitting both ends thereof to the fitting holes, so that the housing unit 3 is raised and lowered by the rotating operation of the rotation plates with the operation rod 4 and switchingly laid in a movable state and in a fixed state. A locking tool 6 for engagingly locking the operation rod 5 along the inner surface of the housing unit 3 in the detached state of the operation rod 5 is provided within the housing unit 3.
