METHOD OF MANUFACTURING INKJET INK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a nonaqueous pigment dispersion for an inkjet ink which has a small particle diameter and hardly causes clogging of an inkjet nozzle and has good covering power. SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing an inkjet ink comprises (a) feeding a dispersion containing a pigment, an alcohol carrier, and an amino-terminated polyether dispersing agent; (b) mixing the pigment dispersion with a hard pulverizing medium having a size of <100 μm; (c) introducing the mixture of step (b) into a pulverizer; (d) pulverizing the mixture from step (c) until the particle diameter of the pigment comes to <100 nm; (e) separating the pulverizing medium from the pulverized mixture in step (d); and (f) diluting the mixture from step (e) to obtain an inkjet ink having a pigment concentration suitable for an inkjet printer.
