PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve dimentional stability and obtain a rigid tatami bed and tatami mat by using 20 micron or thinner metal foil the thickness of which has not been realized heretofore for a plastic foam of the tatami base as a foundation base of a tatami mat. SOLUTION: A sheet in which metal foil is laminated on paper, cloth, nonwoven cloth or plastic is bonded to a plastic foam to form a tatami bed with use of an epoxy-based adhesive having a high hardness.
