摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high Mn nonmagnetic seamless steel pipe low in permeability under cryogenic conditions, having uniform low permeability in the circumferential direction and being suitable to a large beam pipe for a particle accelerator. SOLUTION: This steel pipe has a composition containing, by mass, 0.05 to 0.15% C, 26.0 to 30.0% Mn, 5.0 to 10.0% Cr and 0.05 to 0.15% N, or moreover containing 0.50 to 5.0% Ni and/or <=0.02% Ca, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.
