摘要 PURPOSE:To increase ion dissociating power to dissociate ions of many salts so as to chemically stabilize a solid electrolyte battery even in use over a long period of time and to deal with a wide temperature range by providing in the polymer structure of a solid electrolyte a number of acidic groups having greater dipole moment than that of ether oxygen of conventional polyether. CONSTITUTION:A solid electrolyte battery D comprises a solid electrolyte 1, a positive electrode 2, a negative electrode 3, current collectors 4a, 4b, a positive electrode can 6 and a negative electrode cap 5, and the fitting portion of the positive electrode can 6 and the negative electrode cap 5 is sealed by an insulator 7. The positive electrode 2 uses manganese dioxide which is a positive active material and the negative electrode 3 uses metal lithium or the like, and the solid electrolyte 1 is fabricated using a highpolymer prepared by polymerization or copolymerization of a unit represented by the formula, and an ion-dissociating metal salt; R is a divalent coupled group, X is a polar group such as -CN and -NO2 or hydrogen and two or more of X are polar groups, and (p) is a positive integer. A high electromotive force and a high discharge capacity are thus obtained.
