PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter apparatus for filtering a fluid to extract a filtered sample fluid from a container and a tubular conduit especially for the purpose of measurement. SOLUTION: This filter apparatus is constituted of one or more first filter elements 4, a fluid pump 27 and a second filter element 5 and equipped with a closed fluid circuit wherein a sample fluid is sucked from a container or tubular conduit through the first filter element 4 to be returned to the container or tubular conduit through the second filter element 5 or passed through the second and first filter elements in this order. By this constitution, the aseptic treatment capacity of the sample fluid can be enhanced with a low cost apparatus.
