PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved and stable liquid reagent containing a coenzyme for a hydrogen transfer enzyme suitable for measuring dehydrogenase activity or a corresponding substrate. SOLUTION: The invention discloses a stabilized aqueous solution of the coenzyme for the hydrogen transfer enzyme containing an oxidized or a reduced type of NAD, NADP or derivatives thereof, one or more organic compounds having a pKa of 1.5-6.0 or salts thereof, and/or a nitrogen-containing compound shown by formula I [R1, R2 and R3 are allowable to be the same or different and each hydrogen, a saturated or unsaturated alkyl or aryl group].
