PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably pile up lidded transport containers stacked in tiers with articles housed therein in a number of tiers without regard to the directional problems. SOLUTION: The transparent container (1) comprises a container main body (2) having inwardly expanding dents (25) at its front and rear side walls (21) which incline outwardly, starting from the bottom part (20) toward the upside, and a lid body (3) composed of a pair of lid plates (30), and ledges (26) each bent inwardly approximately in horizontal at its wall surface are provided, connecting to the dents, at the inner walls of the container main body (2) while ribs (32) are provided at the reverse side of the lid body (3) so that the ribs (32) can be mounted on the ledges (26) when the lid body (3) is attached to the container main body (2), and furthermore the bottom part (20) of the container main body (2) coming to the upside can be laid directly on the ribs (32) when the containers are piled up.
