PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method of molten iron using decarburized slag, with which the shortening of the treating time and the lowering of reached phosphorus and silicon concentration can be performed and the treating cost can be reduced by improving the slag-making to the decarburized slag and the dephosphorizing and desiliconizing reactions. SOLUTION: After adding an iron oxide-containing material into the decarburized slag 17 produced when the decarburize-refining is performed in a refining furnace 20 and >=60 wt.% of which is melted, this decarburized slag 17 is cooled and solidified. Thereafter, the slag 17 is added into a dephosphorize-treating furnace for molten iron 16a to dephosphorize the molten iron 16a.
