PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fit a tablet container to an appropriate fitting place of a tablet feeder without fail. SOLUTION: The tablet feeder comprising the tablet container with tablets accommodated therein, a table feeding means with the tablet container fitted thereto to feed the tablets of the quantity according to the prescription, and a memorizing means to memorize the tablet container to be fitted to the tablet feeding means, and feeding the tablets according to the prescription by the tablet feeding means when the tablet container with the tablets according to the prescription stored therein is fitted to the tablet feeding means by an operator, further comprises an appropriate fitting place memorizing means to set and memorize the appropriate fitting place of fitting the tablet container to the tablet feeding means for each tablet container and an appropriate fitting place determining means to determine the appropriate fitting place of the tablet container accommodating the tablets according to the prescription.
