PURPOSE:To realize highly efficient quantization of sound by introducing an adapted code book method for an analysis synthesizing type sound encoding device. CONSTITUTION:A self correlation function of input sound from an input sound self correlation function calculator 14 is searched by an adaptive code book searching device 15. Then, the adaptive code book searched is constituted with self correlation functions of synthesized sound obtained by a synthesized sound self correlation function calculator 21. A change rate parameter indicating an obtained code number is read out from a parameter code book 17 by a parameter reader 16, and inputted sound is analyzed by a sound analyzer 13 using a fundamental frequency extracted by this parameter and a fundamental frequency extractor 12. The parameter code book is constituted with data in which a parameter used for synthesizing sound by a sound synthesizer 19 is converted to a change rate of a parameter in a fixed section by a parameter calculator 18. |
