PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical knife by which favorable, surgical incisions with self-closed nature that the surgical incisions are closed by intraocular pressure and pressure caused by resistance at the time of incision are made when operating on an eyeball as a spherical tissue. SOLUTION: The surgical knife A has a shank 2 that extends to a blade 1 and blade 2, and an edge 3 is formed at the outer edge of the blade 1. The edge 3 is made up of at least two oblique planes (6a, 7a) divided by the edge 3 as a boundary and has a function as a cutting blade. The thickness h of an upper surface 6 made above a surface 5 including the edge 3 is set between 75% and 93% of the thickness of the blade 1 (the thickness of the upper surface 6 and the lower surface 7). |
