PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the deflection of a ring-like wire which is an auxiliary hook side wire of an auxiliary hook equipped with a wire for slinging work, prevent from cutting, prolong the service life of the ring-like wire and reduce the labor required for changing and the idle period of slinging work. SOLUTION: In this auxiliary hook 1 equipped with a wire with reinforcing thimble for slinging work, the ring-like wire 4 is made to be free from the deflection caused by repeated loads by fitting a reinforcing thimble 9 comprising highly rigid steel plate whose size conforms to the space section in the upper section of the internal circumference of a thimble 5 which is a fitting ring fitting to the internal circumference of a ring-like wire 4 which is an auxiliary hook side wire, that is, the upper section of the internal side of the thimble 5 to the side of a Toyolock (R) 6 for attaching the ring-like wire 4 to the crane side wire 7.
