PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of being bad in operability since a vehicle starts to move before confirming steering wheel operation and an attitude of a work machine at advance-retreat switching time in a work vehicle such as a tractor. SOLUTION: A retreat switch 1 is arranged on an advance-retreat switching lever of the vehicle, and a hydraulic cylinder for a brake actuated by a command of a controller is arranged on a rear wheel 2R. A brake pedal switch 6 is arranged in a 'play' position of a rotary range in a rotary base part of a brake pedal 4, and when the retreat switch is turned off, actuators 3L, 3R for the brake are actuated for a prescribed time to stop the vehicle. When detecting stepping operation of the pedal 4 in this prescribed time, the brake is released.
