PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform cutting of a gate without using a hydraulic cylinder or an air cylinder by generating the force necessary for the cutting of the gate by a compression spring. SOLUTION: The compression spring in which elastic force is accumulated at the time of retreat of a punch is allowed to act on the rod cooperating with the punch in a mold and the accumulated elastic force of the compression spring is released to advance the punch in a moment to cut the gate.
