PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve working environments by decreasing discharge air volume. SOLUTION: A valve member energized so as to close a route through which an object material to be crushed with a centrifugal crusher is passed while allowing the object material to pass through is installed, so that the discharge air volume of air to be discharged out of the crusher attributed to the air current generated in the crusher by rotation of a rotor can be decreased. The centrifugal crusher is provided with such a valve member and the valve member for decreasing air discharge volume is employed for the centrifugal crusher.
