PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastewater pretreatment apparatus reducing the plottage concerned in the construction of a treatment equipment including this pretreatment apparatus, realizing the reduction in capital and running cost by enhancing the long-term durability of the pretreatment apparatus, facilitating maintenance while enhancing the safety of a worker and facilitating the flocculation or sedimentation of impurities suspended in wastewater of every kind regardless of quantity to efficiently remove the suspended impurities. SOLUTION: An injection means for injecting a flocculant in wastewater, a diffusion means for stirring and mixing wastewater in which the flocculant is injected, a pressurization means for pressurizing the stirred and mixed wastewater, a pressurization release means for expanding the pressurized wastewater, a first compression means for compressing wastewater released from pressurization, a static pressure means for bringing the compressed wastewater to a static pressure state and a second compression means for applying pressure to the wastewater in the static pressure state are provided to a wastewater treatment flow channel from an upstream side.
